 Delroy - Home was destroyed

Delory and his family live in a small home on a hill overlooking Port Morant. When Hurricane Dean hit in 2007 his home was completely destroyed. His family was forced to live in a small abandoned concrete building near the water. There was no furniture, electricty or water.

The Birmingham mission group Isaiah 6:8 helped Deloroy rebuild his home on the hill. They also started a project where Delroy’s family was given a pregnant pig. In return Delroy would use the pigs for his own revenue and donate other offspring to continue the project with other families.

During my trip in July of 2008 Delroy build a pigpen and dig a 6ft hole for the waste. The last update I received Delroy and the pig project was going as planned. This week I will stop in and check on Delroy and the pigs!
