Stokes Hall is a small community outside of Port Morant. Last year Isaiah 6:8 identified the Stokes Hall Basic School as a primary project for their mission.

The school was located in a small 10×10 room in the rear of Stokes Hall church. Some 20 children had to cram into the small room each day for school. The roof leaked and the large 12ft. concrete wall was in danger of falling in on the children.

The school’s teacher, Miss Hortense offered a small piece of land for a new school to be built. The community itself dug the foundation and prepared the site. Isaiah Six Eight provided the materials and some labor but in the end the Stokes Hall community came together to build a new basic school.
