Katrina – Five Years Later

Five years ago Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast of Alabama and Mississippi. I ended up in Biloxi just days after the storm. Over the years I’ve posted many pictures of my travels to the Gulf Coast region. I dug back through some of the images that I didn’t ‘feel worthy’ at the time and tried to breathe new life into them. The images below are just days after Katrina.

“Five years ago Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast of Alabama and Mississippi.”

Seriously? Who knew?! It was my understanding the only place hit was New Orleans, LA.
Oh, and President Bush wanted all those people dead.

Now back to reality…these are amazing photos. Hard to believe you thought them unworthy of posting.
It is also good to see someone recognize other places also suffered and lived through great devastation.
Thank you for posting them.
