Sitio Pantay
Located in a valley about 45 minutes from Antipolo City, Philippines is the small village of Sitio Pantay. People in the village farm, raise small animals and make charcoal for a living.
Traveling to Pantay from Antipolo takes you from the mountains of Antipolo down into a valley of rice fields. Along the bumpy road you pass small homes and people in the street. At the base of the mountain lies the Solid Cement Factory where outside it’s walls are homes stacked on top of each other. Once you leave the factory village you emerge into a valley of rice fields.
Travel a few miles across the valley along a rough rocky road you arrive at a the small village of Galilee at the base of a new set of foothills. Travel several more miles along the base of the foothills and you arrive in Sitio Pantay.
Pantay seems to be on the border of any type population. Along the road homes are fairly close together but head further into the jungle and homes are father apart.
